Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join their client's team in Fresno County. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of inventory management processes. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills, and will play a pivotal role in supporting production and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Create, track, and close work tickets to ensure accurate reporting of material usage and production activities.
  • Administer regular cycle counts, reconciliations, and audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Complete physical count transaction entries in the ERP system.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, stock variances, and reporting errors.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing and Production teams to ensure timely material availability for manufacturing schedules.
  • Process Purchase Order receipt transactions for goods and services.
  • Coordinate and complete return transactions of goods to suppliers with Purchasing.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of part numbers and bills of material.
  • Prepare and complete monthly reports on project manufacturing status.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory processes, materials handling, and reporting.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned in support of inventory control, production operations, and overall facility objectives.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to manage inventory transactions, monitor stock levels, perform cycle counts, and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in data entry and reporting.
  • Good communication skills to collaborate across multiple departments.
  • Experience in Sage 100 ERP Software is a plus but not required.

Monday - Friday, 1st shift

The position offers competitive compensation with a pay range of $25 to $28 per hour.
